Let's start with Portgas . D. Ace born as Gol. D. Ace, he was the son of the late pirate king " Gol. D. Roger" and Portgas. D. Rogue. (P.S, I say "was" cause spoiler alert Ace is dead, yes DEAD). After delivering Ace his mother died and his father the pirate king got executed a year before he was born, placed in the custody of Monkey D Garp, Ace was raised in south blue. (I'm not going in too deep don't want to spoil anything for those who haven't watched one piece) After meeting Sabo and going on some small adventures, Ace and Sabo shared a similar dream which was to become pirates, sometime further down in the series Monkey D Garp brings his grandson (Monkey D Luffy) to stay where Ace was. Ace, Sabo and Luffy made a pact in which they became sworn brothers over a bottle of sake. At the age of seventeen Ace sets out to become a pirate, after some sailing, he got shipwrecked on the island "Sixis" where he met a man with no name, after giving the man the name "Deuce" they sat and talked about their family. Several days passed and Ace was still unable to get off the island, preparing to eat a fruit he saw which he didn't know was the "Mera Mera no Mi" he heard Deuce stomach growl he offered Deuce the fruit, but Deuce got filled with guilt for he was planning to attack Ace and forcefully take the fruit. After reconciling the two decided to split the fruit in two but since Ace ate his first, he got the power of the Mera mera no Mi. Working together the two built a ship called the Striker which ran on Ace's flames, after setting out they formed the spade pirates. Some years after when Ace became infamous, he went to challenge one of the four emperors' "Whitebeard" to which he lost HORIBBLY. Whitebeard to a liking to Ace and made him one of his sons of course Ace didn't accept so easily but after liking Whitebeard himself and realizing he can't beat him; Ace became one of Whitebeards sons, after being promoted to second division commander Ace became close to one of his subordinates "Teach". However, one day Teach killed one of his crewmates "Thatch" in order to obtain the Yami Yami no mi devil fruit. He then fled the crew, Ace being the commander of his section felt it as his responsibility to stop Teach but Whitebeard was against it saying that Teach might be too much for Ace to handle. But after a solid argument Whitebeard allowed Ace to pursue Teach, fast forward after chasing Teach for so long Ace finally confronted Teach also known now as Blackbeard and his crew. They fought and Ace lost, after losing Blackbeard took Ace into the marines in which he was later subjected to be executed. Of course, this news travelled worldwide and of course Whitebeard wasn't going to just sit and let Ace die neither was Monkey D Luffy, I mean this man Ace basically started a whole war over his life. But as I said I'm not trying to spoil anything so as short as possible let's wrap this up, Ace was supposed to be executed at Marine ford. Whitebeard and his whole fleet showed up as well as Luffy and some others, now the marine was prepared as well, they had all the Marine admirals and all the warlords ready to prevent anyone from stopping Ace's execution. Now let's speed things up, everyone started fighting the war went on due to certain circumstances Luffy managed to free Ace but as they were fleeing one of the Admirals "Akainu" attacked Luffy, Ace stepped in front of his brother to save him and got his torso and insides burned up by Akainu's magma. So, Ace died saving his brother. P.S, I left out a lot because again I don't want to spoil anything.
Now let's move onto Natsu, so Etherious Natsu Dragneel a member of the famous guild fairy tail is a fire user and a dragon slayer also an exceptional one at that. He was born on July the seventh and is originally 420 years of age since he was sent to the future from the past, when sent to the future he was raised by his adoptive father Igneel who was the king of fire dragons for sadly he died fighting another dragon by the name Acnologia. On July the 7 X777 all dragons including Igneel disappeared leaving each of their adoptive kids all alone that's when Natsu was taken in by Makarov the current leader of the guild at that time. Natsu then grew with his fellow guildmates and has become a skilled mage for the guild, but he usually leaves mass destruction after any fight. After meeting Lucy Heartfilia and Wendy Marvell who join the guild, a team was form including Erza Scarlett, Gray Fullbuster and not forgetting Happy and Clara. This team carries out most if not all their missions together. An important character trait of Natsu is the amount of love he has for all his friends who he considers family. There is nothing else that really needs to be said about Natsu I guess so let's move forward.
IGNEELMAKAROVTHE GUILDHIS TEAM
Ok now let's move onto the abilities of these fire users shall we. Let's start with the man that can turn his whole body into fire and it's obviously not Natsu. So, Ace the user of the Mera Mera no Mi, can control, create and become fire. Due to his fruit being a Logia type he can also avoid physical or basically any attack as they just disperse within him. E.g., you shoot bullets at him they will just melt in him. Though it has been proven that he's weak against magma even in his fire state since magma consume flames, he's also weak to any flames hotter than his own. Now he uses a charade of fire attacks such as:
Flame Fist: He turns his fist into flames and launches it at his target
Fire Bullet: Using his index and middle finger on both hands he points them at his opponent and shoots fire bullets from his fingertips
Fire Pillar: He shoots collected flames straight upward like a large fire pillar, destroying a target above him. He also uses it downwards to clear any enemies that might be below him.
Firefly: He creates many small, glowing yellow fireballs that floats around an enemy.
Fiery Doll: After using Firefly to send the fireballs floating around in proximity to the enemy, he sends all flying into the target at once, burning them.
Heat Haze: He shoots a stream of fire from the palm of his hand.
Saint Elmo's Fire: Ace launches two long lances made of fire at his opponent's chest burning or piercing them.
Mirror Flame: He releases a large number of flames and forms it in a firewall to defend against attacks.
Flame Fence: Ace creates a circle of fire around a selected area, preventing anyone from entering or leaving it.
Great Flame Commandment: Flame Emperor: Ace's ultimate technique, he creates a gigantic fireball resembling the sun and hurls it at his opponent to try to obliterate them.
Conqueror's Haki: The ability to knock out someone else or a large group, only those with weak wills though.
Then of course there is his, Immense Strength, Immense Endurance, Immense Durability and Enhanced Speed and Reflexes.
One of his main weaknesses is the well-known fact that no devil fruit eater can swim.

Well onto Natsu then, Natsu is a dragon slayer who uses fire to fight, also for those who don't know dragon slayers can eat their element from other sources except their own, they also cannot eat any other element other than what they use. Even though that's the rule, multiple times Natsu has proven himself to eat other elements other than fire that's how he's a lighting fire dragon now. His heat can increase due to his emotional state, so the angrier he gets the hotter his flames burn. I'm not going to post every single one of Natsu's techniques because it will take too long. But just like Ace he uses a variety of fire attacks, let's get going then:
Fire dragons roar: He gathers a lot of fire and releases it from his mouth.
Fire dragon brilliant flame: He ignites both his arms in flame and bring them together creating and explosion.
Fire dragon iron fist: He engulfs his fist in flames while punching his enemies.
Dragon slayer secret art: Crimson lotus exploding flame blade; In which he swipes his arms in a circular fashion creating a massive torrent of flames.
Crimson lotus phoenix blade: In this form he ignites his entire body and rushes at his target thus sending them flying with an upper cut.
Lighting fire dragon mode: In which he uses lighting and fire this was after he ate lighting from Laxus but even though the combination is powerful he always gets really drained after using it.
Black fire dragon mode: After absorbing the flames of the god slayer Natsu can now use it at will of course after mastering it.
Dragon force: This is said to be the last and most powerful state of a dragon slayer in which they are said to have the same power of an actual dragon.
E.N.D form: His demon form in which his powers are multiplied by a thousand and he looks demonic and if in this form too long he loses control.
He also has Enhanced hearing, smell, sight, speed, reflexes and so on.

Ok let's see, we have the history and abilities of both let's have the scenario for the winner.
Natsu is passing a billboard and sees a poster for a shoplifter, details were that someone was coming in restaurants and eating food without paying or stealing them, there was a reward for the capture and as usual Natsu was in need of money. What he didn't know was that the man on that poster was Portgas D Ace and he was wanted for more than just stealing meat he was one of the most feared pirates known around his area. Natsu tracks him down to a small restaurant and catches him red handed running out with a whole chicken eating it as he ran. Ace saw Natsu in his way and eats the whole chicken quickly and was about to run past him but Natsu stopped him.
Ace: hey what's your problem
Natsu: Turn yourself in thief
Ace: 😂😂 are you here to capture me
Natsu: If you don't turn yourself in then yes
Ace: Well, let's see you try kid
Ace jumps backward and prepares to attack, Natsu tell his cat Happy to move away. Ace launches a rapid attack of fire bullets until Natsu was covered in flames, he laughs thinking Natsu was burnt and turned away walking. Hey so you're a flame user huh, said Natsu while eating his flames. Ace surprised now turns around, wait you eat fire what in the world, try eating this then and he proceeds to send a flame fist at Natsu. Natsu jumps in the air to avoid it and using his fire to boost him he rapidly comes at Ace and hits him with a flame iron fist or so he thought for Ace turned himself invulnerable by going into his flame state.
Ace: You can't touch me kid, might as well give up
Natsu: No thanks punk and he jumps backward and then proceeds to let out a fire dragon roar at Ace
Ace: Mirror flame, now Natsu's fire is mixed in with Ace's wall of flames
For a while Natsu tries to hit him physically but can't touch Ace since he continues to go into his fire state.
Ace: Ok kid let's end this sorry in advance and with that Ace launches his great flame commandment at Natsu. Try eating this
Natsu unable to dodge takes the attack and just like Ace had mockingly said he eats it and runs straight towards Ace and tries to hit him with a flame kick
Ace: I've shown you already you can't touch me kid
Natsu: Believe me I wasn't trying to, and he starts to inhale Ace. Ace quickly goes back to his normal state but to his surprise Natsu uses an attack he hadn't seen
Natsu: Lighting fire dragon iron fist, this shocks Ace leaving him paralyzed but Natsu wasn't finished he jumps back and shouts lighting fire dragon rooooaaaaarrrrr.
Ace was defeated, Natsu proceeds to take out a now half burning picture of Ace and enters the restaurant. The owner thanks him but chases him out due to the mess he assisted in making outside.
Owner: Tch you fairy tail wizards never can do a job neatly.
